Gold and Deep Analysis: A Comprehensive Approach

When we reach our target or an all-time high (ATH) in gold, it’s time to do a new Deep Analysis (DA). This helps us stay on track and adjust our strategy.

Past Experience
My last Deep Analysis was on July 20, 2024, covering the period until April 2025. Before that, I did another DA on November 25, 2021, which looked at the years 2022 to 2024. During this time, I kept an eye on current trends to make sure my analysis was still correct. It was a relatively calm period, making it easy to monitor.

What is Deep Analysis?
Deep Analysis isn’t something you do every day. It’s different from quick daily analyses because it involves a lot more information from various sources. It requires preparation, not just in terms of data, but also mentally, to ensure you’re neutral and open to any outcome. This process can take at least half a day, and I usually spend a whole weekend on it.

Considering External Factors
When doing a Deep Analysis, you need to think about many things. These might include:

  1. Seasons and Weather: How they affect markets.
  2. Historical Events: How past events influence current trends.
  3. Politics: Anticipating changes in political landscapes.
  4. Corporate Changes: Tracking leadership transitions.
  5. Activist Groups: Monitoring influential groups.
  6. Defence Contracts: Keeping an eye on upcoming deadlines.

These factors might seem unrelated to gold at first, but they can have a big impact.

Preparing for the Future
As we approach the end of April 2025, it’s crucial to get ready for the next phase. Whether we like it or not, the market demands preparation. Doing a new Deep Analysis will be key to navigating the changing landscape effectively.
